As an advocate in the valley and surrounding areas, I am grateful to have helped facilitate the development and implementation of effective IEPs, FBA/BIP Plans and 504 Plans for numerous children. The special education process can be overwhelming for even the most educated and involved parents. As an advocate, I am able to support and lead you through the entire process, and then to assist with accountability that can lead to a more meaningful and individualized plan for your child in the school setting. Since my goal is to support children from all angles educationally, I have served as an expert witness in Special Education due-process court cases and presented Professional Development Inservices for school districts. Both types of opportunities are aligned with my passion for maximizing the potential of learners as individuals, as well as supporting the processes that make a quality and appropriate education possible.
